The Australian Rohingya Women’s Development Organisation works with Rohingya women, children and families in the Greater Sydney Area. ARWDO is addressing issues related to isolation and marginalisation of Rohingya women. As well as systemic disadvantage caused by temporary refugee protection visas, bridging visas and community detention. ARWDO support Rohingya women who are experiencing financial hardship, social isolation, domestic violence, housing stress, barriers accessing services, among others.

ARWDO is dedicated to empowerment and have been supporting Rohingya women access free English classes, yoga, swimming classes, information sessions on beach safety, art classes, and employment upskilling.
